College Advising

Sara LynchJulie Pelkan Glusker
Managing College Consultant

Julie is an accomplished, strategic, and caring advisor, educator and coach with 30 years of experience across academics and athletics. A specialist in whole student (and athlete) development, college counseling, and essay advising, Julie guides college-bound students with purpose and passion through the application process with a personalized, holistic approach. Students explore this transition through academic opportunities, pursue authentic growth activities (extracurriculars), select relevant standardized tests, set goals and plan, research colleges to build a relevant, balanced target list, and complete a comprehensive, compelling application. With Julie’s support and encouragement, students learn about their strengths, build self-initiative, and determine their college fit. With the process of whole person development, students build confidence, take initiative, and find meaning (and perhaps even some enjoyment!) in the college application journey. Julie works virtually with students nationally and internationally. A list of college acceptances for her students can be found here: JG College Acceptances
