Starting at age 18, our clients are considered young adults. We agree, the day one turns 18 does not an adult make – yet the needs shift as the programming for making healthy choices becomes much more about the autonomy of the student and the internal drive to make those choices.
There are a wide range of specialized programs for young adults – everything from outdoor/wilderness to programs with college or vocational support and therapeutic residential life, to international excursions with coaching models and beyond. All our clients need something more than the traditional “gap” year. We specialize in those young folks who struggle in college, haven’t made it to college, are unsure about their next step or in some cases, just haven’t been a part of the family or community in years due to anxiety, low self-esteem, inertia and other emotions.
